Right: Classic example of how a simple design can be highly effective - this signage was built for a florist near Calgary. A large, bold design spanning the top central windows that is viewable at a distance was requested.
A pair of complimenting green and red translucent vinyls were chosen to achieve a 'stained glass' effect, whilst allowing a significant amount of light to pass into the store. The store faces west, so the tulip also acts as a visor when the sun is low in the sky.
During winter months, the design is backlit to project a bright tulip into the parking lot.

Right: 'Haute + Humble' offers haute cuisine 'to go'. Originally the owner wanted an etched glass effect, however with west-facing windows this didn't offer as much contrast against the glass as she'd hoped. After a number of samples had been installed for evaluation, the final material that was chosen gives the look of brushed aluminium.
While not being a massive nor complex installation, the overall effect is that the text and lettering blends seamlessly with the chrome and metal interior of the premises. Insets show more detail on the logo and opening hours.
Inside the main door a large vertical version of the front window text stretches from floor to ceiling on a ten-foot tall piece of tempered glass.
